Additional Information: This article introduces the reader to Spanish speaking Latinos in London, a group which has hardly merited a mention in publications about multiculturalism and multilingualism in London. Based on sections of a chapter in the author’s upcoming book, Multilingual Identities in a Global City: London Stories, it first discusses estimates of how many Spanish-speaking Latinos there are in London. This done, it discusses the social, economic and linguistic trials and tribulations of a Colombian man living and working in 21st century London.
