Additional Information: The article focuses on mothers' learning experiences of body training in the areas of health, beauty and social care. It discusses the various regulatory processes of learning, from the embedding and embodying of professional knowledge and identities to the repressing of cultural norms and behaviours. It argues that training spaces can be seen as transitional and liminal in which body work is learnt for eventual practice in workplace.
