Additional Information: My refereed chapter examines the discourses of quality and equity that are constructed in the recent UK debates about widening participation in further mathematics and shows how systemic inequlities are individualised. The book maps social constructions of quality and equity across international and theoretical landscapes. My chapter is one of three british contributions.
