||This paper was an invited submission for a special issue of ISSE, which was a festschrift for Geoffrey Walford edited by Sara Delamont and Leslie Pugsley. Other contributors to this special issue included Sally Power, Geoff Whitty et. al and Richard Pring. This paper examines the stratification of the curriculum according to parents' education, gender, ethnicity and school sector, using the Longitudinal Study of Young People in England. It is methodologically innovative, using Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA).
