Additional Information: This chapter is based on original empirical research with refugee children that was funded by the European Union under its Framework 5 programme. It assesses the projects innovatory methodology and its use of digital technologies. It argues that we need to be cautious not too overstate the potential empowerment that digital technologies offer to research participants and the socially excluded.
