Additional Information: Field of Enquiry: Media theory Theoretical Perspectives: multimodality theory Original Contributions: the book proposes a series of new applications of multimodality theory to the analysis of specific media forms, in particular moving image media, websites and computer games. It is a research method book which exemplifies its approach (multimodal analysis of media texts) by a series of original analyses drawn from small research studies by the two authors. This is an authored book, so has not been formally peer-reviewed. It is co-authored, though I am the principal author of all chapters, and the sole author of chapters 1, 4 and 6.
