||This book presents a fundamental reassessment of the field of citizenship education. Drawing on case studies in Brazil, two original theoretical frameworks ‘curricular transposition’ and ‘seamless enactment’ are introduced. Implications are also drawn out for contexts such as the UK and USA, which are characterised by significant disjunctures in provision.
