| Additional Information: | This article presents an original piece of research on children, internet risk and education. Using research from a European media education project, the article discusses the discourses surrounding children’s experience and knowledge of Internet risk. The article contains an analysis of project which engages with risk through media production – an original approach to a difficult educational area. The findings from this aspect of the article have been disseminated widely throughout the European Union. The analysis also provides a framework for analysing children's talk about risk, demonstrating a rigorous approach to the qualitative data. The journal editors refereed the article.
