Additional Information: This report is based upon a year-long research project that looked at the new teacher education programmes for teachers of adult numeracy, literacy and ESOL. It is explores and evaluates new ITE programmes in eleven universities that were applying the new subject specifications to their ITE provision as part of the skills for life initiative.
