Additional Information: This investigation moves beyond a narrow view of school success and advances our understanding of the significant role played by self-regulation in learning: a rapidly growing area in developmental psychology and a key element of policy initiative such as SEAL. The method uses a recent cohort of young people containing rich, longitudinal data with repeated measures of key assessments allowing for the analysis of change over time and employs the latest techniques to account missing data.
